Sacred Heart:
Global
A global partnership, Show Me the World, has begun with a project sponsored through the University of Missouri-Columbia, U.S.A.  Connected students and their classrooms with partners from all around the world can participate in projects through the use of networked technology . It is through projects of collaboration and interaction that learning takes place.

Sacred Heart students in parts of the world embrace this project as it meets the vision, goals, and criteria of the Sacred Heart.  They gain the knowledge and skills to gather, analyze, and apply information and ideas effectively.Through this relationship students practice communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills so that they are able to become responsible members of not only their society, but responsible members of the world’s society as well.

With this partnership between Sacred Heart schools in Taiwan and Missouri, students will interact through Internet-based projects and research to broaden their understanding of their partner's culture and life.  Students learn to use technology tools of multi-media, a secure web-based workspace, writing, creating, and speaking.  Through the use of video-conferencing, students will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face for discussions on several selected topics.
