Check-Out
Policies
Each student, is assigned a number that is used for checking out books. Library
materials are to be checked out at the Circulation Desk. It is important that
all items taken from the library be properly checked out. Students are responsible
for all materials checked out under their names.
Damaged
or lost books: check with Sister Stephens first, but
for a truly lost/damaged book there is a charge for book replacement.
Books: Students
can check out up to 4 books. The normal loan period is 2 weeks.
Reference Books are available for library use only. They cannot be checked
out.
Overdue
Materials: There are no overdue fines, but no additional
books may be checked out until due books are returned to the
library.
Renewal
of Materials: Students may renew regular library books
for an additional two weeks unless someone is waiting to read
it.
Internet
Access: The library computers have access to a full
Internet connection. It is our goal to provide this service to
promote educational opportunities that reach far beyond our local
resources. Internet use in the library is restricted to academic
research related to class curriculum and is only for completing
school-related assignments. Students are expected to access appropriate
resources.
Photocopy: Reference
books may not be checked out of the library. If student needs information
from these books, we make copies of pages that the student needs. |
