Villa Duchesne Service Learning Program

Goal Three calls the Villa Duchesne community to educate to a social awareness that impels to action. The service learning program is one significant way in which the school community lives this goal. Students have a structured service program each year, grades 7 - 12. The program is designed to provide an opportunity for both service and experiential learning. Students in grades 7 - 11 have a two hour block of time on 10 afternoons during the school year. Students in grade 12 schedule 40 hours of service outside school hours. The Service Learning Program includes the active participation of faculty and parents.

Everything you need to know about Service Learning Assignments, permission forms, sites, directions, driving lists, substitutes, dates and time are all posted on Edline.

Just find your daughter’s classes and choose the Service Learning option!
