Annual Giving

Annual giving is an appeal to all members of our Sacred Heart family for unrestricted funds that support the School’s annual operating budget. While tuition is the main funding source for our current academic, service and enrichment programs, the cost of educating each child is actually $1,000 more than tuition. Raising tuition to meet all costs would mean that many families would be unable to send their children to Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill School. Annual giving allows Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill School to: attract the most experienced, educated and talented faculty; make funds available for enrichment programs, technology initiatives and varied extracurricular activities; and provide financial assistance for families who qualify. Your support of Annual Giving is a powerful statement about your beliefs and commitment to each child’s intellectual, spiritual and personal development. Merci, in advance, for your generous contribution.

Child of the Sacred Heart Scholarship
Through the incredible generosity of one of our families, Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill School is thrilled to offer financial aid to Oak Hill students for the first time in our school's history! The $500,000 anonymous donation has been designated for endowment as part of the Doorways to the Future Capital Campaign. $5,000 of the interest generated from the principal will fund a "Child of the Sacred Heart Scholarship" for one qualifying boy or girl. This scholarship will be available to students in grades K-3 and will follow the recipient through the third grade on an as-needed basis.

Reis Family Scholarship
Thanks to the continuing support of the Reis family, two Catholic young women entering seventh grade at Villa Duchesne will each be granted a $3,000 scholarship. Eligible students must demonstrate academic strength. This scholarship is renewable each year.
