. . . Villa Duchesne was established in 1929 as a boarding and day school for girls with 127 students registered. In 2004, 402 young women are enrolled in grades
7-12.

. . . The school’s 60 acre campus includes the 1929 Main Building which houses our beautiful Chapel, the state-of-the art Katherine Danis Science Center, a cutting-edge computer lab, a new language lab, a library/media center with more than 14,000 volumes, an art wing and auditorium.

. . . Athletic facilities include the Thelma Kenefick gymnasium, complete with an indoor swimming pool and new fitness center. In addition, there are eight tennis courts and four playing fields. The 400-meter Holthaus track is located on the lower campus.

. . . Students represent nearly 60 zip codes and a variety of backgrounds.

. . . Villa students are recognized as: National Merit Scholars, AP Scholars, Missouri Scholars Academy members, national and area art competition winners, writing contest winners, award-winning Show Choir members, Thespian Society members, creators and coordinators of community service programs and social action projects, service award winners, leadership conference participants, Metro Women’s Athletic Association All-Stars, Division 1 athletic scholarship recipients.
