Oak Hill Physical Education
and Health
Welcome to
the 2005-2006 school year. We are excited about having
your child in physical education. Our curriculum includes a variety
of skills concepts, game activities, rhythms and dance, and aquatic
experiences designed to enhance the cognitive, motor, affective,
and physical fitness development of each student. Throughout
the year we teach activities that allow children the opportunity
to
work together to improve their emerging social and cooperative
skills. These activities also help children develop a positive
self-concept. You may find more information at our website by
visiting Oak
Hill Physical Education.
We
ask your help by encouraging your child to give their best effort
daily, demonstrate good sportsmanship and fair play, and follow
classroom expectations. We also ask that you send written notification
of a medical excuse or illness if your child is not able to participate.
We
are looking forward to a successful year. By working together to
encourage fitness and exercising, we are confident we will be able
to help your child enjoy the experience and benefit of physical
activity. If you have any questions please feel free to contact
us at 432-2021.
Sincerely,
Mr. Kimbell
