2. Students are expected to dress in complete uniform, including
shirt with last name, maroon shorts, and tennis shoes.
3. Students are expected to actively participate in all class
activities.
4. Students are expected to work respectfully with the teacher
and other students.
5. Students are expected to play fair and be a good sport.
6. Students are expected to do their personal best at all times.
Consequences
A student’s failure to meet these expectations will result
in a loss of points toward their physical education grade and/or
a discipline referral.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Students are expected to attend all scheduled class meetings.
Consequences
Attendance is one component of the student’s grade. A student
who is absent from class will lose the participation points available
for that day. Points may be regained by making up the absence.
MAKE-UP POLICY
A student who is absent from class may choose to make-up the missed
time within five school days of the absence to receive full credit.
The procedure to earn credit for a missed class is to notify
the teacher of your intentions, fill out a make-up record form,
do the prescribed activity, and have the attending teacher sign
the record. All record forms should be returned to the appropriate
teacher.
UNIFORM POLICY
Students are expected to be dressed in the physical education
uniform, which includes Villa Duchesne shirt (last name on back),
maroon shorts, and tennis shoes.
Consequences
Dress in the correct uniform is one component of a student’s
grade. A student not dressed in the correct uniform will receive
a referral slip for each day she is out of uniform. After a student
has accumulated three referral slips during a quarter, 10 points
will be deducted from her total possible points for each subsequent
violation. This will result in a lowering of her grade.
GRADING POLICY
A student’s physical education grade is determined by points.
These points are earned for:
• attending all scheduled class meetings
• actively participating in all class activities
• abiding by the uniform policy
• written work including class assignments, tests, and quizzes
